With Sea World tickets, you can add on a second park for a discounted price, so we chose the water slide park. On our way to Aquatica we saw many police cars with blocked off roads. We quickly cut through a parking lot and saw that it was a Black Lives Matter protest!!
We pulled out onto the main street again as the march caught up with our car. I had my window rolled down, about to holler in support when a police officer ran up on my driver's side window (startling me) yelling "Go on!! Get out of here before you get stuck!!" So we drove on. We support equality and we added them to our Friends on the Road list. There are some pictures below!
When we arrived at Aquatica, we saw a mom and her kids having car troubles. We asked if they needed help. The mom looked so relieved and said yes; she needed a jump. Another man had been trying to help but his jumper cables weren't working.
I searched our rental car with no luck. I guess rental cars don't come with jumpers. I flagged down the first car we saw. The guy was nice enough to not only stop, but also help the woman get her car started. It seemed as if she did not speak English very well and she was also quite distraught. She was very thankful. It was sweet. They made our Friends list, too.
Right as we made it to the entrance, we saw a mass exodus of people leaving the park We don't have many pics of the water slides because, well, they're water slides. No loose objects allowed. Plus, my cell phone is not waterproof. Next: Did we make it to Sea World? Back to Our Adventures
