Making Money on the Road

Thinking about ways to support yourself on the open road? Check out some of these great ideas!

How do you support yourself on the road?
In the years we studied van life before taking the plunge, the most common question we would see circulate was every possible variation of "How do you support yourself on the road?"

Valid question, right?

The answers were as varied as the people.  The take-away we got is that we each need to determine the color of our own parachute and go for it.

For inspiration, we have collected some creative money-making ideas (and links!) of actual van lifers...

Kate & Mel's Van Life Income
I (Mel) am a business consultant for professionals in the mental and  behavioral health / family services field.  I'm a licensed marriage & family therapist in three states (California lic no 102308, Oklahoma lic no 1153, and North Carolina lic no 2143); the Founding Director and Clinical Supervisor of  Family & Children's Counseling Services, Inc., and  the author of a  National Supervised Visitation online training program.

My non-money making ventures include  a therapy-focused YouTube channel,
