Day Sixty-four Still enjoying Corpus Christi. We all visited McGee Beach then the Texas State Aquarium.
Day Sixty-five We had a fun dolphin viewing boat tour and spent more time on the beach. Today was the first day that it was sunny, so it was nice to enjoy the warm weather on the boat.
Day Sixty-six 4/5/2020- We all rode around the beach on a rental golf cart and looked for sea treasures on the shores.
Later, Kate and I got pedicures at Chloe’s, then we all met up again for dinner at Alcupoco.
The weather was predicted as a low of 72 degrees, so Kate and I stayed in the actual hotel. This is the first time since vanlife began that we have stayed in a hotel. I originally thought that we would grab a room once a week, but we haven’t wanted to or needed to until now. I took advantage of a private bathroom and dyed my hair.
We both enjoyed the a/c.
Day Sixty-seven We said goodbye for now to my older daughter (Kate’s big sis) and headed northwest. We landed in Marble Falls for the night and parked in a busy hotel plus two restaurants’ parking lot. It was a perfect hiding place!
Day Sixty-eight We came across bluebonnets today!!! I had been waiting to see them since we got to Texas. I remember looking for them out the window of the car when I was a kid. Bluebonnets make me happy.
We hung out in Burnett for the day then drove on to Stephenville where we parked at the Walmart for the night.
Day Sixty-Nine We headed out to Breckenridge where we spent a lot of time at the local library. We love small Texas towns!!! We stayed at the local Walmart overnight.
